We have 40 Vehicles and have petrol pumped in all of these every day.
"In the past, books and order numbers were used on a daily routine. Every morning a driver would provide his registration number and he would get an order number, which was his authorization for that particular transaction. If the driver was in Pretoria and he needed more fuel that day, he would have to come back to the office for authorization on another transaction. At the end of the day, he would bring back his petrol slips, which then got attached in the books.
At the end of the month, all the transactions had to be reconciled manually. Each day three to four hours were spent sortiong out slips and getting to tie up with the correct vouchers.
Go Logic has approached Croydon Service Station, who have provided them with a debtor tag for each vehicle. All the time spent on fleet administration each day is now time saved and wisely utilised on other productive activities.
The SmartFuel System does all the work for us. The total time spent on fleet admin for the month is 20 minutes. We are provided with a complete statement, a detailed report on each vehicle, consumption reports on each vehicle, and a signed invoice copy of each petrol transaction.
